Solar Power Tree Developed for Generation of Electricity

The Ministry of Science and Technology developed a ‘Solar Power Tree’, an innovative way to generate electricity using solar power in a limited space on July 22,

2016 It is developed by the CMERI,

Durgapur, a laboratory of the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research

The Solar Power Tree model is actually designed like a tree with branches made of steel to hold the photovoltaic panel.

Whatsapp, Facebook told to file affidavits

today told the Supreme Court
they were sharing only a few types of users’ data between them and not With any third party, as alleged by two Students who have challenged ‘ WhatsApp privacy policy. A five-judge Constltution 

Bench asked the two Compaqnies to file an affidavit to this effect after senior counsel

that the companies were sharing only the names, phone number, device registration number and where
the user last viewed his/her WhatsApp message 

GiVing four Weeks to file affidavit, the Bench posted the matter for November 28 . when it Will decide Whether to pass any injunction order as  demanded by the petitioners. This was the first time the Bench took up the WhatsApp case after the recent ninejudge Constitution Bench verdict that declared right to privacy a fundamental right.

Landslide in shimla Video NEWS

The incident took place near Dhalli tunnel, close to Shimla. The area has been seeing heavy rainfall for the past three days.

Due to the landslide, the Dhalli-Shoghi road was blocked and hundreds of trucks loaded with apples and headed to the Bhattakufar Subzi Mandi, 3 km from the spot, were stranded.
